作者简介

罗宾·麦金利，美国魔幻与儿童作家。1952年出生于俄亥俄州沃伦市。其父是美国海军军官，母亲是教师。由于父亲的工作特点，麦金利随父亲几乎走遍世界，包括加利福尼亚，纽约，日本以及缅因州。麦金利在缅因州Bethel的Gould预科学院接受了教育，后来进入大学，首先在宾夕法尼亚州的卡莱尔的狄金森学院，后来就读于缅因州的鲍登学院，获优秀毕业生荣誉。大学毕业后麦金利留在缅因州做研究助理，工作了数年，后在书店工作。
