雷米·查利普（Remy Charlip）

1929年生于美国纽约，在纽约库珀协会艺术学校学习美术，也在朱利亚德学院学习过，多才多艺，活跃在戏剧、舞蹈、舞台艺术、广告设计、装帧设计等广泛领域。他是儿“THE PAPER BAG剧团”的创办人之一，对儿童剧有很高的造诣。他在一篇散文里说“书页是门”，在《幸运的内德》里发挥其戏剧感觉，巧妙利用翻页因素，创造出了跌宕起伏，离奇曲折，富于节奏感的历险之旅。

他在美国曾经发表过近30种儿童读物，三次获得了《纽约时报》最佳图画书奖。
