1. how do you expect to benefit from the program that you are applying for? it is known that experience does count for an employee to find a satisfying job. in order to achieve more valuable experience in marketing and management, i have made up my mind to apply for this program. on the one hand, i expect to learn more things about my life since i think nobody could be a successful employee or employer unless he is a qualified human being. on the other hand, i think it is a good opportunity for me to learn more advanced theories about both marketing and management. besides, since there are many excellent teachers and classmates, i consider it is a great chance to learn from them. i hope to b***e an excellent person and to accumulate more experience about both my life and my career.

2. how do you see your career progressing?

as a matter of fact, i have been working in china for four years. and during these four years i have decided that my future career could be starting a business by myself or working in a multinational***pany. no matter which one i choose at last, the first step would be arming me with enough advanced theories and rich experience. the beauty of life lies in its uncertainty. but it is necessary to make preparation for this uncertainty. and i consider it is a good opportunity for me to join the program to make a good start for my career. my aim is to be good student and learner at the very first, and then a great practitioner and creator.

3. describe your major strengths and weaknesses

as a young man, i know there is still much for me to learn. i confess that it is quite urgent for me to learn more things about those advanced theories within my major. besides, although i have learnt some theories, yet it makes me confused to apply them into practice. however, i am a good learner. i have learnt a sentence that the most valuable people in this world are not those who know everything, but those who are able to learn everything. and thank goodness, i am a good learner with firm perseverance and creativity.

4. do you adapt well to new and challenging situations?

i have grown up from a***mon family in china and my growing process has helped me to form good habit of being independent to choose. when my classmates were wondering how to spend their four years in university, i was joining different clubs and enjoying my life in school. when i worked in beiersdorf hair care, it took me one month to have a full understanding of the whole work theories and practice and i became a leader there in two months. there are different kinds of challenges in both life and work, yet i have confidence in myself that with diligence and intelligence i can cope well with them.

5. do you consider yourself to be "international in outlook"？

as far as i am concerned, it is necessary to have a full understanding of the domestic market to be “international in outlook”. since i have been working for four years and i have read lots of news about china’s market, i have at least a good understanding of the domestic situation. besides, i have worked in beiersdorf hair care, which is a foreign***pany in china. the working and studying experience there gave me a good opportunity to see things with an international outlook, which i appreciated very much. however, it still takes time and diligence to be really “international in outlook”, which i hope to b***e by joining the program.

6. what are your personal interests?

although my major in university was marketing, yet i have a strong love for art. what’s more, i have a wide range of hobbies in my spare time. i love painting, which i think is a nice way to talk to my inner world and mother nature. my major has offered me opportunities to b***e a successful employee or employer, yet it is my personal interests that help me to enjoy life more. when i am free, i would like to listen to music and travel to different places. as far as i am concerned, music and travelling can both help me to get out of fatigue and weariness of work.

7. additional information to support your application (for example your test scores).

i have got 6.5 for ielts and the scores for my curriculums in university were over 80. i had joined different clubs in university and i had won several prizes in***petitions all over china. i am a simple person and i would try my best for my goals no matter how hard it could be. my favorite sentence is that “there is only one success--to be able to spend your life in your own way”. i think it is true and i am willing to try every little possibility.

第四篇：我的留学感谢信

留学经验分享

2014年春，我从公司辞职，在家专心考试准备赴美读书。

认识海翔是一个比较偶然的机会。有一天在某大学路过时看到了海翔的海报，于是晚上半信半疑地去教室听了陈老师的讲座。对于中介公司，我是抱有比较强的戒心的。大概因为自己以前的工作也有中介性质，我深深清楚中国目前的服务业现状，大部分公司和服务人员都是只想着挣钱而不考虑服务质量，也缺乏相应的服务理念和素质。听完讲座，对海翔的第一印象还不错，虽然公司刚刚起步，但是陈老师在讲座时说的很多大实话让在公司工作两年的我十分有感触。我现在还清楚地记得他对于公务员的看法和我不谋而合，一种隐约的信任感油然而生。

暑假参加了陈老师在北京的gmat培训班。机会很好，只有我和另外一名男生听课。陈老师讲课方法和思路都很清晰。可惜我不是一个好学生。师傅领进门，修行在个人。坦白说，在后来的复习过程中，我并没有严格按照陈老师的方法复习。因为在一段时间，尤其是第一次考试成绩并不理想之后，我觉得如果要全面掌握这种方法还需要大量练习和摸索，但当时的我已经没有那么多精力和时间了。所以我在cd看了许多前人的经验，在此基础上进行复习的。我的gmat考分不高，在此也不多说了，不要误导。

考试成绩都出来后，已经是10月份了。终于进入了选择学校和文书撰写的环节。选择学校的部分，因为我对于美国学校并不了解，所以先请陈老师发了一个名单过来，上面是所有他认为比较适合我的学校。然后我根据名单在网上做了一些research。在选学校这个环节，国内和国外的信息不对称是最头疼的。有些学校在中介公司或者国内市场很有声誉，但是在美国国内并没有太大知名度。这种被国内市场over-valued的情况举不胜举。如果毕业后希望留在国外发展的，一定要在国外的网站上多下点功夫。不过这都是我个人的后知后觉了。在10月份我自己选学校的时候，做完网上的research我也提出了几个学校，但由于一些原因后来又删除掉了。现在看来，最后留下的还是陈老师给我的最初名单上的学校。在这里，我想说陈老师对学生的综合素质和学校要求的匹配还是把握得比较好的，基本上他选择的这些学校还比较符合我的实际情况。我的申请结果也可以说明这一点。

选学校之后是文书撰写。我没有请过别家中介的经验，所以无法作出比较。海翔的步骤是先和文书老师有一个qq语音聊天，基本介绍一下自己的情况，然后文书老师会就她认为可以深挖的素材让学生补充细节。这期间会有频繁的邮件交流，要回答很多很多文书老师的问题。因为我有工作经验，所以这个流程就变得更加繁琐。老师希望能全面了解我在工作中的成长情况（学术上和思想上），所以我花费了很多时间回忆我的工作，和同事共同探讨，多听听相似经历人的经验之谈，有的时候可以启发自己，必要的时候也可以有方法地借用过来。

素材搜集齐全之后，就是要用现有的庞大的素材编织一个合乎逻辑的成长和发展的故事。在我第一次听陈老师讲座的时候他曾经说到，文书的思路就是不仅要写出自己现在的成绩，更重要的是要写出如果我进入这所商学院接受教育，这样的教育对我的职业发展有怎样举足轻重的意义。所以，一个好的文书，要有过去、现在、未来三个组成部分。我的文书构架是由海翔的文书老师全权包办的，她选择使用怎样的素材、搭成怎样的框架，比例掌握得很好。这部分我非常满意。

海翔的宗旨是“集你我智慧”，我觉得这个理念很好。只要目标是一样的，集思广益，取长补短，才能做到更好。在ps的实质撰写环节，除了文书老师写的初稿，我提供了许多自己的意见。我希望ps可以更贴近我自己，更真实，这样我在申请后续阶段（比如面试时）才能感觉更自信；所以在ps撰写环节，我经常和文书老师就细节、内容以及文法部分进行热烈的讨论。但这并不一定适合所有在校的学生，如果是自己拿不定注意的地方，还是要多听文书老师的意见，毕竟她比较有经验。我的推荐信和additional essays完全是文书老师操刀的，我觉得写得很好，言简意赅，语言流畅。

文书写好后是网申以及递交材料的环节。纸质材料是我自己寄送的，剩下全部拜托给了申请老师。一共9家学校的零零碎碎的网申，真的是辛苦她了。但在这里我也想实话实说，在期间申请老师也犯了大大小小不同的错误。有些我当时发现及时纠正了，有些是后来被对方学校检查出来发邮件过来询问。人非圣贤，孰能无错。但是作为申请人，还是很希望这些错误能降到最少，毕竟后续和学校邮件联系，还要反复解释是很耗费心力的。在和申请老师的接触当中，她给我留下的印象是工作态度非常端正，对工作热情也很高；但偶尔还是会粗心，这还需要进一步的职业培训以及好的工作习惯的培养。忙碌申请之余，我们也会就怎样不要忙中出错交换一些意见，互相学习，互相监督。上次听陈老师说2014年会加强内控，我相信海翔在克服了这样那样小小的不足后，这些细节以后一定能做得更好。

申请全部提交之后，就是漫长的等待了。期间陆续收到wfu/wustl的面试。面试前申请老师在网络上找了许多历年的面经给我，我也就经典问题写好了答案备好。虽然和面试官聊得很开心，没想到结果全都不理想。原因不解，也许这也是一种冥冥之中注定的缘分吧。 陆续收到拒信来自uva，因为我的先修课不符合对方要求；拒信来自umn双城，原因不明。

1月收到第一个来自bentley的ad。真的是绝望中的一丝曙光。

1月中旬收到bc的面试邀请，原本以为自己没有了，姗姗来迟的面试也带来了一丝惊喜。bc的面试是所有面试里面最tricky的，竟然和托福口语一样。窃以为这是未来美国商学院的面试趋势。第一节省人力，第二问题都很专业棘手，不再拘泥在why bc/why macc的问题上了，更能考察学生语言和专业能力。

1月下旬收到rochester在北京面试邀请。是mba的校友面试，因为已经有了bentley的ad，心里确定在bentley和罗村之间我一定会选择bentley的，所以无压力面试。没想到竟拿到了22,500的奖。

年前收到usc的拒信。有点意外，本来以为至少能有面试的。原因不明。

最惊喜的莫过于年初三收到bc的ad。陈老师曾经说我的情况应该把dream school定在bc，目前看来这个定位是比较准确的。

洋洋洒洒写了这么多，比起总结，更像是半年来的日记流水账。陈老师曾经说gmat是考决策能力，扩展一点说，我觉得申请商学院的整个过程都是决策力的考验。选择工作还是出国？选择去哪里念？选择念什么？选择在什么档次的学校念？选择diy还是选择中介？选择哪一家中介？一连串的选择决定最后的人生走向。在学习的问题上，我的态度是很坚决的，要学，而且要去好的学校学。在中介的问题上，我想，专业问题应该交给专业人士来处理。diy固然很好，绝对是自我能力的体现。但是每个人精力能力都有限，对于我自己，我有自知之明不能考试申请两全顾，所以我选择了海翔。我欣赏陈老师的申请经验和海翔所有工作人员热情饱满的服务精神，虽然签证未到，尘埃还未定，先提前感谢海翔所有工作人员提供的服务。

赴日留学如何申请留学奖学金

由于费用相对较少、打工机会较多等原因，赴日留学受到了越来越多中国学生的青睐，在亚洲国家中，日本是中国学生留学选择比较多的国家之一。赴日留学，很多人都比较关注日本奖学金方面的问题，通过这篇文章希望大家能够对日本奖学金有个大致的认识。

奖学金名目繁多

日本留学生可以获得的奖学金名目繁多，在众多奖学金中，最令留学生渴望得到的是文部省奖学金。日本文部省实行对在日大学等高等教育机构就学的外国留学生实施奖学金制度，向在日本大学等高等教育机构中注册的成绩优秀学生颁发学习奖励费。这项资金1954年设立，金额足以解决留学生的学费、生活费。此外，还有其他津贴。所以一经获接纳，取得这项奖学金，俨如日本的“国费生”。自2014年起，这项奖励也开始面向在日本语教育机构注册的学生。

日本有些民间团体也向赴日留学生发放奖学金。这些奖学金的其中一种类型是冠名留学奖学金，由财团法人日本国际教育协会统理。如：神内留学生奖学金、关西paint奖学金等数十项。除此以外，日本大学的奖学金还有自费外国人留学生学习奖学金、地方自治体奖学金、学校奖学金和民间团体奖学金。奖学金的申请以已经入学的自费留学生为对象。

如何申请奖学金

在手续上，奖学金可分为赴日本以前在国外申请，和赴日本以后在日本申请两类，而基本上是以后者为多。以奖学金的对象来看，大多授予大学以上的学生、研究人员提供的奖学金较多，为专修学校学生或在日语教育机关学习的学生、旁听生、科目等履修生、研究生所设的奖学金很少。希望得到奖学金的人，一般要通过书面资料审查，及专门领域知识和语言等笔试，面试审查等考试来决定能否得到奖学金。大多数学生是通过在籍学校提出申请，具体情况可以向有关学校的负责留学生部门询问。

日本政府发放奖学金的方法，一种是通过日本驻外使馆向国内文部省推荐；另一种方法是通过日本国内的大学向文部省推荐。当然，奖学金可足够支付留学生所需要全部费用的很少，大多是只够分担生活费、学费等的一部分。除申请奖学金外，赴日留学的学生还可以通过其他一些方式减轻经济压力，帮助自己完成学业，比如学费减免等。

学费减免措施

每年约3万学生可以得到不同程度的学费减免，其中政府为私立大学或短期大学提供不超过学费的30%额度的补助。

医疗补助

在日本高等教育机构注册的学生，在其生病或发生意外伤害时，可享受80%的医疗补助。

公费录取
